harkbell

A voice on your website

Most visitors will not fill in a form and will not pick up the phone. A talk button asks them for neither.

The visitor who was nearly a customer…

The call you are losing right now

  1. They read your prices page twice and cannot find the one thing they wanted to know.
  2. The contact form asks for a name, an email and a message before it will help.
  3. They close the tab. You never had a lead to lose.

What happens when it answers instead

  • One script tag, and it is live

Copy it from the dashboard, paste it into your site. It renders in its own shadow root, so it cannot break your styling and your site cannot break it.

  • They talk instead of typing

No app, no number to dial, no form. They press the button and ask the question they actually had — and they can interrupt it mid-sentence the way they would a person.

  • It looks like your site, not like ours

Button text and colour are yours, and the panel matches the host page's light or dark theme. It works on a phone as a sheet rather than a cramped desktop panel.

  • Reachable by keyboard and screen reader

Because a widget that only works with a mouse excludes exactly the visitors most likely to prefer speaking to typing.

What this actually takes

  • The free plan. This is the one channel that costs nothing to run, with real answered minutes a month.
  • Somewhere to paste one line of HTML. If you can edit your site's footer, you can do this; on WordPress, a plugin does it for you.
  • A visitor willing to grant microphone permission — the browser asks, not us.

the part nobody else prints

What it will never do

  • Work without a microphone. It is a voice agent; a visitor who declines the permission gets told plainly rather than left with a dead button.
  • Follow a visitor around your site or track them. It is a button that starts a call.
  • Replace your phone line on its own. Website voice and a phone number are separate things, and the number is a paid plan.

Questions people ask about this

Is this a chat widget?

No — it is voice. The visitor presses a button and talks, and can interrupt mid-sentence the way they would a person. Typing is exactly the friction that stops people using contact forms, so adding a faster form was not the point.

Will it work on my website builder?

On WordPress, yes, with the Harkbell plugin: paste your key, no code. On Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and Shopify you paste one line into the builder's site-wide code setting, which those builders keep for paid plans; the website widget page walks through each. GoDaddy's builder is the exception: it frames custom code, so the floating button does not work there. It renders in its own shadow root, so it cannot inherit or break your styling.

Does it really cost nothing?

The free plan has real answered minutes every month, and this is the channel it runs on. It is enough to put it on your site, show the team, and find out whether it is any good before you pay anything.

Hear it on your own site before you decide.
