An AI receptionist for nail and lash studios

Regulars call to squeeze an infill into a busy week. New clients call not knowing gel from acrylic. It is quick with the first and patient with the second.

what the phone is costing you

Five missed calls a week, at a $95 full set, is about $9,120 a year — if 60% of those callers wanted to book and 60% of them never ring back.

Nail and lash work has short appointments and high volume, which means the phone rings constantly and is answered rarely — you are two inches from somebody's eye. It also means a missed call is rarely rebooked later; there is another studio a street away with an opening this afternoon.

Do it on your own numbers →

And what that number is not →

It already knows how your callers talk.

Nails
Gel and shellac are polish; BIAB is an overlay; acrylics and extensions add length; dip is powder. A full set is new, an infill maintains one.
Lashes
Classic, hybrid, volume, Russian are extension styles. A lash lift is not extensions — it curls their own lashes. It asks which they have on now.
Brows
Shaping, wax and tint, lamination, threading, HD brows. Booked as the treatment you actually list.
“How long will it last?”
Regularly confused with how long it takes. It answers the one they asked.

A call it takes while you are busy

Incoming callwhile you were working

“How much is a full set of acrylics and can I get in today?”

“A full set is $85 and takes about ninety minutes. Today I have 4:15 — would that work?”

“Yes. I've got extensions on now from somewhere else, is that okay?”

“I have made a note that you are coming in with an existing set so your tech can allow for a soak-off. You are booked for 4:15.”

What is waiting for you afterwards

  • The booking, with enough time allowed because the removal was captured.
  • A note on the contact about the existing set.
  • The gap between what the caller asked and what you had written down, if there was one.

What it writes down without being asked

  • What is on their nails or lashes right now — bare, your set, or work from another studio.
  • For infills, roughly when the current set was done.
  • Work from elsewhere, always noted, because it can change the appointment.

Anything wrong with an eye

Redness, swelling or pain after lash work — it stops booking, takes an urgent message, and suggests no remedies.

the part nobody else prints

What it will never do

  • Promise that a set from another studio can be filled rather than removed. That is the technician's call.
  • Guess how long an infill or a removal will take on a set nobody has seen.
  • Book somebody in as normal when they have described irritation or a reaction.

These are hard limits in the brief your agent runs on — not a tone setting you can turn off by accident.

The questions your callers actually open with

  • “Do you do BIAB?”
  • “How much is a full set of lashes?”
  • “Can I get an infill this week?”
  • “Do you do brow lamination?”

Whatever your diary is

Almost always Square, Vagaro or a book. It books into Square and Vagaro directly, and studios running on Instagram DMs and a notebook are served by DM answering plus one-tap requests.

Questions owners in your industry ask

Will it allow time for a soak-off or a fill?

It captures whether they are coming in with an existing set, and whether they want a fill or a full set, because those are different appointment lengths. What it captures is what your service list distinguishes.

Can it answer lash questions — retention, fills, allergies?

It reads back what you have written. Anything that sounds like a reaction — swelling, itching, pain — stops the booking flow and becomes an urgent message.

What if somebody just wants a price list?

It reads your prices. That is one of the most common calls in this trade and one of the least worth interrupting a set for.
